I have a trailer for my toddler for my bike but wanted a seat as well. I just started looking at seats when I had the chance to try, test and review this product. This is my first Child Bike Seat I ever tried. First, I was concerned it would not fit on my bike. We have 2 here and one it would not work with. The other just barely made it. I recommend you check first for compatibility but I'm sure this is a similar issue with other bike seats. Instructions were easy to follow and setup/install was a breeze. I did it myself. I was skeptical on how the seat gets attached but I realize all bike seats get attached the same way. I like how it can be removed with ease and put back in in a matter of seconds. My daughter is 20m and was the test subject for this. The seat seemed very comfortable for her, her first time in a seat a such. Britax has been making things for children for a very long time and it enjoys a strong reputation as a company that produces quality products. The high regard myself and others have for Britax was enough to convince me to obtain this bicycle seat and I have not regretted my decision.I have two small girls, one of whom is still small enough to use a seat such as this. The weight limit is 40 pounds, so it is only going to work for children roughly four years of age or younger. My little one is still light enough and when she was first introduced, she took to this seat right away. She likes the adventurous feeling of riding on the back of the bicycle and I feel good knowing that she is safe and secure. Looking at the specifics of this Britax bicycle seat, the seat is very sturdy in construction and it takes about 20 minutes from the box to the point where it is ready to use. Our family is large and we enjoy going on long bike rides. The Britax Child Bike Seat is a great addition to have on hand now that our family has a little one that can be part of our family bike runs.When opening the Britax Child Bike Seat box, I was pleasantly surprised how little assembly was required of the piece. This gave me an easier time keeping a 23 month old fascinated with bicycles away from small parts and allowed us to try it out more quickly. I mounted the bike seat on a large-sized Diamondback hard-tail mountain bike. When initially placing the mount on the tube, I was greatly concerned that it would interfere with the crank-shaft shifter cable. My fears were relieved when close inspection (and closer review of the directions) revealed a gap in the unit which was designed to allow the cable to run unimpeded.
