This is easily remedied with electrical type or other methods. Not sure why they designed it like that. Otherwise a great light. Perfect for campus/park paths at night.*Note: When I put this in, "flash" mode it actually made 2 cars slow down and pull over. I try to avoid flash mode now. But it could come in handy... The tail light is great. People now go around me during the daytime, truly impressive! This light may save your life. Don't forget to turn both lights on during the day, especially the tail light. The set would have been 5 stars without the design flaw.
