He's outgrown 16" bikes but just isn't quite there yet for 20" bikes. It is really difficult to find good 18" bikes. Mongoose makes some but the frame is so large they might as well be 20" bikes. Hats off to Kent for filling this void with a very sturdy and well designed bike. My son won't stop riding this bike. The electric blue shade has all of his friends complementing the look of this bike too. Nice job Kent. Shipping was fast and the bike came with a broken reflector but I called customer service and they expressed a new piece out to me right away. Great service. I would definately recommend this bike to others.  plastic components of very poor quality, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kent Boy's Action Zone Bike (18-Inch Wheels) (Sports) Our son is 5 and 4' tall the 18' boys bicycle with training wheels was an elusive item to finally find.The bike itself seems to be quality but the plastic components are of very poor quality. On the first ride, the right pedal literally broke. The chain gard is of the same grade and weight of plastic that comes on any plastic packaged item you would find in a store. The chain guard made noise with every rotation of the pedal. Other than that, the bike appears solid and is very bright and colorful. |
