Moving again does not wake it up (like it does for other computers). You have to THINK after each stop to wake it up again, because even if it is asleep it is not calculating the mileage. Once you are biking again and remember to 'wake' it, several miles have gone by and you do not have an accurate count of your total distance. I do not recommend this computer.It could be that there is a functionality that I am not aware of where you could set it to 'stay awake'. I was happily surprised after I mounted it and took it for a test ride for a few hours, which is why I decided to write a review to set the expectations right.1. INSTALLATION: Pretty easy, although the user manual is virtually unreadable. 2. WIRELESS CONNECTION: very good. I didn't experience any of the reported wrong speed indications. In fact, the wireless connection between the sensor and the display worked perfectly, under what I consider trying conditions: I had my rear light blinking and I has my iPhone in my pocket streaming music to my headset over Bluetooth, and I didn't notice any problem with the wireless computer. The Ultega cycle computer is easy to read, even while speeding too fast down the hills near my home with wind in my face and tears in my eyes. The cycle computer has all the essential measurements (plus a thermometer for those who need to know) and is easy to install. Recommended. |
